Sofiya Gaynutdinova

Sofiya Gaynutdinova is an experienced professional in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as Chief People Officer at VEON since October 2011, where responsibilities include leading the HR&OD team and managing personnel training and development projects. Sofiya has held various roles, including Chief HR&OD Officer at Veon Group, OpCo Uzbekistan, and has experience as a stress-councilor with UNDP/CISMU. Previous positions include Project Lead at "Umidvorlik" Centre, Psychologist and business trainer for Caravan Group, and Clinical Psychologist at multiple organizations, including the Republican Research Centre of Emergency Medicine and the World Health Organization. Sofiya holds a master's degree in psychology from the National University of Uzbekistan.
