Emma Maleko, MPH, currently serves as the Associate Director of Digital Fundraising at the Vera Institute of Justice, where responsibilities include leading the development and execution of digital fundraising strategies focused on online donor acquisition, retention, and reactivation. Previously, Emma held the position of Donor Development Manager at Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA, managing digital fundraising initiatives and achieving a 34% increase in recurring gifts through the THRIVE monthly giving program. Additional experience includes a Graduate Research Internship at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, where Emma conducted research on urban food insecurity, as well as roles at Fountain House, overseeing direct response and event coordination, and at Houston Food Bank, supporting major donor events. Emma holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and International Studies from the University of Dallas.
