Karen Ball

Karen Ball is an accomplished web strategy and development professional with extensive experience in managing web projects and content creation. Currently serving as Associate Director of Web Strategy at the Vera Institute of Justice since April 2021, Karen previously held positions as Web Producer at 2U and the Council of State Governments Justice Center, where responsibilities included building responsive web pages, ensuring accessibility standards, and collaborating with diverse teams to meet marketing goals. Prior to these roles, Karen spent over a decade at Business Wire, progressing from Senior Newsroom Supervisor to Multimedia Editor, managing editorial staff and producing custom web projects. Karen holds a BA in Philosophy from Binghamton University and completed a Professional Certificate in Web Development from NYU.
