Kort M. Lee

Kort M. Lee, Esq. is a legal professional with extensive experience in immigration law and social justice advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Program Associate at the Vera Institute of Justice since November 2019, Kort previously worked as an Immigration Staff Attorney at The Bronx Defenders from 2016 to May 2019. Additional experience includes a Law Clerk position at the Public Defender Service in late 2014 and an Equal Justice America Fellowship at the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights Coalition in the summer of 2014. Kort holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center (2012-2015) and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors with a focus on Latin American History from The University of Texas at Austin (2008-2012).
