Nazish Dholakia

Nazish Dholakia is a seasoned journalist and communications professional with a diverse background in media and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Writer at the Vera Institute of Justice since February 2021, Nazish previously held key roles at Human Rights Watch, including Press Officer and Communications Lead for Asia. Additional experience includes positions at Money.com as a Researcher/Reporter, Crain's New York Business as a Web Producer and Reporter, and various reporting roles at notable outlets such as City Press and San Antonio Express-News. Nazish earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Asian and Middle East Studies from Northwestern University, completed in 2011.
