Melanie Nelson, MHA, is a seasoned professional in patient support services and market access, currently serving as Senior Director of Patient Support Services and Patient Affordability at Vera Therapeutics, Inc. since September 2025. Previously, Melanie held senior director roles at Orchard Therapeutics and Global Blood Therapeutics, where notable achievements included leading patient support operations for Oxbryta and orchestrating initiatives to enhance reimbursement and patient education during the pandemic. Melanie's extensive experience also includes leadership positions at Kite Pharma, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Medivation, and Actelion, focusing on commercial operations, market access, and patient assistance programs.
