Vidhya Ramachandran

Vidhya Ramachandran PhD is a seasoned scientist specializing in diagnostic product development, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Veracyte, Inc. since April 2021, where responsibilities include planning and executing studies for IVD-R products and designing experiments for IVD-R submissions. Prior to this role, Vidhya worked as a Scientist III at both Veracyte and Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on genomic diagnostic products and molecular biology, respectively. Vidhya's experience also includes positions as a Global Scholar at PreScouter, a Technology Analyst at the University of California, San Francisco, and a Postdoctoral Scientist at UC Berkeley, with a strong emphasis on commercialization, patentability evaluation, and innovative research in molecular and cell biology. Vidhya earned a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology from The Ohio State University, complemented by an MSc in Biochemical Technology and a BSc in Microbiology, Chemistry, and Botany.
