Jerry Karlin

Vice President, Corporate Business Development at Veradigm

Jerry Karlin has a strong background in finance and business development. Jerry started their career as a Senior Credit Analyst at LaSalle Bank in 1989. Jerry then moved to American Airlines, where they worked as a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning and later as a Controller for the Legal Department. In 1999, they joined United Airlines, initially as a Sr. Financial Analyst and later took on roles as a Director of Finance (Marketing Division), Director of Strategic Sourcing, and Sr. Principal of E-Commerce Business Development. In 2007, they joined Midway Games as the VP of FP&A, where they played a key role in financial analyses and restructuring during the company's chapter-11 bankruptcy proceedings. Jerry then became the VP of Finance at SDI, where they created income statement and balance sheet forecasts and implemented portfolio and project-level P&L reporting. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as the Senior Director of Corporate FP&A at AAR Corporation. Jerry is currently the Vice President of Corporate Business Development at Veradigm®, a role they have held since 2015. Throughout their career, Jerry has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and negotiations.

Jerry Karlin completed their MBA in Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1985 to 1989.
