Ted Barker

Ted Barker has a diverse work experience starting in 2000 as a Technical Writer at Firetalk. Ted then worked at Zone Labs as a Technical Writer and later as a Technical Publications Manager from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Project Manager at Check Point Software Technologies. Ted then worked as a Sr. Project/Product Manager at HipSolve Media, LLC for a brief period in 2007. In the same year, they joined mFoundry as a Project Manager, where they managed client-facing implementations of the company's mobile banking solution. From 2008 to 2009, they held the role of Technical Publications Manager/QA Engineer at Ad Infuse. Ted then worked at Velti as a Director of Quality Assurance from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Eveo as the Director of Quality and Release Management, but they left the company after a few months. From 2011 to the present, they have been associated with Practice Fusion, where they have had multiple roles including QA Automation Engineer, Senior Lead Test Engineer, and currently, Senior Manager of Development. In 2022, they joined Veradigm® as the Director of Quality Engineering.

Ted Barker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Northwestern University in the years 1981 to 1985. Ted later pursued a Master's degree in European History at the University of California, Davis. In addition to their formal education, Ted obtained certifications in "Equity First: The Path to Inclusion and Belonging" and "Cultivating Cultural Competence and Inclusion" from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2021, respectively.
