Hazel D.

Hazel D. has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Hazel began their career in 2009 at CNS Systems, where they worked as a Software Developer until 2012. Here, they gained experience in web-based services and software development, as well as working with Oracle and SQL Server for data storage and retrieval solutions.

In 2012, Hazel joined Verafin and took up multiple roles over the years. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Software Developer on the integration team, responsible for integrating bank and credit union data into the Verafin system using SQL, scripting (gawk, sed, etc), XML, and Java. Additionally, from August 2015 to July 2016, they served as the Team Lead of the interfaces team, ensuring their success in meeting goals.

Then, from 2017 to 2020, Hazel served as the Technical Team Lead at Verafin. Subsequently, they became the Product Development Lead from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Cloud Platform at Verafin, starting in October 2021.
