Ricky Martinez

Ricky Martinez has over a decade of experience in operations, marketing, and leadership across various industries. Currently serving as the Assistant Coordinator Supervisor for the City of Evanston since May 2010, Ricky oversees a team of 40 lifeguards, managing schedules and staff training while ensuring the safety of beach patrons. Additionally, Ricky has been the Manager/Lead of Operations at Verano since September 2020, where responsibilities include executing strategic initiatives and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. Previous roles include Agent In Charge at MedMen, Operations Associate at Seven Point, and Marketing Manager at Allure Night Club & Lounge, showcasing skills in customer service, digital marketing, and operational excellence. Ricky holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing from the University of Illinois Chicago, complemented by experience in networking and leadership as President of the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement.
