Thanh Ho

Scientist III - Process Development - Synthetic Organic Chemistry at Veranova

Thanh Ho has a diverse background in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry. They have experience in process development and synthesis of organic compounds. Thanh has held roles as a Senior Research Scientist and an Associate Research Scientist at Northeastern University, where they designed and synthesized organic compounds and led a group in the chemistry lab. They also collaborated with scientists to evaluate the properties of synthetic compounds. Prior to that, Thanh worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where they specialized in the total synthesis of natural products including glycosyl flavonoids. They achieved the total synthesis of (+)-vicenin-2 and explored the synthesis of hydroxysafflor yellow A.

Thanh Ho completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University from 2002 to 2006. Later on, they pursued a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry under the guidance of Prof. Marcus A. Tius at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2010 to 2014.
