Evan Mladina

Systems Ultrasound Engineer at Verasonics

Evan Mladina began their work experience as a Teaching Assistant at Los Angeles Pierce College in 2013, where they assisted with an osteology lab class. In 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant in Alex Zettl's Condensed Matter Lab, focusing on finding potential high temperature superconducting materials. Evan then joined the Berkeley Student Cooperative in 2017 as a Workshift Manager, responsible for assigning work shifts to residents and ensuring compliance with work shift policies. In 2018, Evan interned at the Garcia Lab. Evan furthered their research experience in 2019 at Berkeley Lab as a Post Baccalaureate Research Fellow, contributing to the development and testing of powerboards. Evan's most recent work experience is at Verasonics®, where they currently work as a Systems Ultrasound Engineer.

Evan Mladina obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Physics and Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2015 to 2017.
