Matthew Russell has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Matthew started their career at DOMO as a Sales Assistant from an unspecified date in 2009 to 2012. After that, they worked as a Brand Ambassador for HP for 6 months in 2013, where they were responsible for marketing campaigns and promoting the Hewlett Packard Graduate Scheme. Matthew then joined RMP Enterprise as a Marketing Assistant Intern from August 2013 to December 2013. In 2014, Matthew had two roles: they worked as a Marketing and Business Development Intern at Captec from January 2014 to July 2014, and as a Barman/Promoter at Skye bar from September 2014 to August 2015.

Matthew then joined Global in October 2018 as a Programmatic Manager, where they managed programmatic activities across various media channels and trading agreements with agency groups.

In 2019, Matthew joined Verb Brands as a Senior Programmatic Manager, where they established the programmatic team, developed best practices, and identified opportunities for new business. Matthew then progressed to the role of Senior Digital Manager from January 2021 to January 2022, where they refined cross-channel strategies and managed the Paid Media team. Currently, Matthew holds the position of Account Director - Digital Strategy at Verb Brands, leading cross-channel strategies, advancing account sophistication, and consulting clients on digital solutions.

Matthew Russell's education history includes obtaining a British Council Generation UK Intensive Mandarin scholarship from the University of Jinan in 2015-2016, where they studied Mandarin. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in International Business Studies at the University of Portsmouth from 2011 to 2015. In 2012, they had an additional educational experience at Prague University of Economics and Business, where they obtained a BA in International Business.
