Francisco Tena Rastrollo

Francisco Tena Rastrollo has over 15 years of work experience in software engineering and user interface design. Francisco began their career in 2005 as Chief Information Officer at Novaelec. In 2006, they joined SAES as a Combat Systems Software Engineer and User Interface Design Manager. Here, they managed GUI teams and developed infrastructure frameworks for HMIs. In 2016, Francisco joined Navantia s.a. as a Combat Systems Software Engineer. Francisco was involved in a wide spectrum of projects in C++, Qt and Python, web development technologies and AI. Currently, Francisco is a Senior Software Engineer at Verbio.

Francisco Tena Rastrollo has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Universidad de Cádiz, which they obtained between 2005 and 2008. Francisco also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same university, which they obtained between 1999 and 2005. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Unity Junior Programmer from Unity in 2023, Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in 2022, Back End Development and APIs from freeCodeCamp in 2022, JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures from freeCodeCamp in 2022, and a Unity Essentials Pathway from Unity Technologies in 2021.
