Chika Acholonu

Chika Acholonu is an experienced professional in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, currently serving as the Associate Director of ESG at Verdani Partners since April 2018. In this role, Chika manages accounts for publicly traded clients, focusing on ESG reporting, tenant and employee engagement, climate risk assessment, and colleague training. Previous positions at Verdani include Senior ESG Manager, Sustainability Manager, Associate Sustainability Manager, and Sustainability Coordinator, where Chika contributed to various sustainability projects and client reporting. Earlier experience includes roles at Applied Sustainability Group, Woodland Park Zoo, the City of Issaquah, Spectrum Health, and the University of Washington, where Chika developed initiatives to enhance sustainability practices and engagement. Chika holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Resource Management from the University of Washington.
