Gabe Sibley

Gabe Sibley has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Gabe started their career as a PostDoc at the University of Oxford in 2007 and worked there until 2011. Gabe then joined George Washington University as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they worked at Google as a Tango partner from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they became the Chief Science Officer at Zoox Inc. until 2017. Gabe then moved on to become an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2017, while also holding the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science there from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they became the CEO of Zippy Inc. and in 2018, they founded their own company, Verdant Robotics, Inc., where they are currently serving as the Founder and CEO. Additionally, in 2018, they briefly worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Cruise Automation.

Gabe Sibley obtained a BS in Math/CS from Emory University, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Gabe then pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Southern California, graduating in 2007.
