Beate Amundsen Koren

Beate Amundsen Koren has extensive experience in the media industry, currently serving as Målgrupperedaktør, Podkastsjef, and Avdelingsleder for VG+/Stories at VG - Verdens Gang AS since January 2009, where responsibilities include editorial content management, digital storytelling, and the development of the VG+ subscription product boasting over 250,000 subscribers. Previous roles at VG include Leader for Feature/VG Helg, Nyhetsleder for VG+, and feature-journalist roles. Prior experience includes serving as Head of the Schibsted Journalism Academy, focusing on data-driven journalism and digital newsroom management, as well as roles in analysis and project management within Schibsted Media Group and an internship in marketing at Viña San Pedro. Beate holds a Master of Science in International Relations from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Oslo.
