Jochem Bossenbroek

Jochem Bossenbroek's work experience begins in 2006 when they worked as a Proteomics Researcher at LACDR, where they focused on mapping the Mineralocorticoid Receptor A & B landscape in brain tissue. In 2008, they worked as a Market Analyst at InnoTact Consulting.

In 2009, Jochem joined the Technology Transfer Office VU&VUmc as a Business Plan Developer and later became a Strategic Advisor at ttopstart B.V., a science and business consulting company. Jochem co-founded ttopstart and served as a Partner until 2016 when ttopstart became part of the PNO Group.

In 2010, Jochem also worked as a Guest Lecturer in Business Management in Health and Life Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

From 2017 to 2020, Jochem served as the CEO of BunyaVax, a Dutch biotech company that develops breakthrough platform technology for generating vaccines. During this time, they also worked as the CEO of Verdify, a foodtech company focused on recipe personalization for better food choices.

In 2018, Jochem became a Member (Young Innovator) at AcTI Netherlands Academy of Technology and Innovation, where they aimed to influence society's perception of science and technology.

In 2020, Jochem became an Advisor for Vaccines at LenioBio GmbH.

In 2023, they took on the role of IMAGINE Leader at IMAGINE, a community and marketplace for systems change acceleration, where they collaborated with corporates, entrepreneurs, and civil society leaders.

Overall, Jochem Bossenbroek has experience in biotech, foodtech, science consulting, lecturing, and leadership roles.

Jochem Bossenbroek began their education at the Blaise Pascal College, where they completed their secondary schooling. Afterward, they attended Delft University of Technology and Leiden University from 2003 to 2007, earning two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biotechnology and Life Sciences, respectively. Following this, Jochem pursued a Master of Science degree in Management & Entrepreneurship at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2007 to 2009. Lastly, they enrolled at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2015 and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 2016.
