Daniel Kapitan is an accomplished digital architect and data scientist with extensive experience across various sectors, particularly in healthcare and education. Currently serving as a Digital Architect at PharmAccess Foundation, Daniel focuses on promoting open health data sharing platforms in Africa to further universal health coverage. As a Fellow at Eindhoven University of Technology's Eindhoven AI Systems Institute, Daniel directs the EAISI Academy for Professional Education, assisting researchers in integrating machine learning into their work. A consultant for government organizations on data-driven transformation, Daniel also freelances as a data scientist and has contributed to several companies, including myTomorrows, where support is provided for developing AI-assisted clinical trials search platforms. Previous roles include Programme Director at Jheronimus Academy of Data Science, Chief Data Scientist at Mediquest, and associated researcher at Bergman Clinics.
