James Phelan

James Phelan has a long and varied work experience. James started their career in 2007 at ExxonMobil, where they held various roles including Global Capital Deployment, Energy Optimization, Capital Project Manager, Environmental Advisor, and Process Design Engineer. In 2015, they moved to Joule Unlimited Technologies, Inc. as Manager of Strategic Projects. In 2016, they joined Cabot Corporation as Finance Manager of Reinforcement Materials and Program Manager of Commercial Excellence. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed Vice President of Finance & Operations at Verdox.

James Phelan received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. James also holds certifications as an Attorney from the State Bar of California, DC Bar, and Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, as well as Biotechnology Certification from Minuteman, and Professional Engineer certifications from Massachusetts and California.
