Juli Perez is a versatile professional with experience in photojournalism, behavioral intervention, yoga instruction, and youth mentoring. Currently serving as a freelance photojournalist for the Los Angeles Times, Juli captures impactful visual content that emphasizes Latinx narratives. In addition, Juli contributes to the Verdugo Hills Autism Project by implementing ethical behavioral intervention strategies and mentors youth at the Las Fotos Project, focusing on photography as a means for advocacy. With a background in freelance photography and creative writing coaching, Juli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Davis, complemented by various educational experiences in yoga and community service.
