John Helm

John Helm is an experienced drilling professional with extensive supervisory roles in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Drilling Supervisor at Verdun Oil Company since April 2022, John Helm focuses on site management of drilling contractors and third-party vendors with an emphasis on efficiency, cost, and safety. Previous positions include Drilling Supervisor at EOG Resources, Drilling Superintendent at Centennial Resource Development, and Managing Member at Helm Consulting Services LLC. John Helm has also held significant roles at Apache Corporation, where Drilling Superintendent responsibilities included oversight of multiple drilling rigs in the Eagle Ford Shale, and EOG Resources, where supervision spanned several rigs in the Bakken Field.
