Maaike Baan

Maaike Baan currently serves as an Inhoudelijk medewerker Klimaatzaken at Milieudefensie since April 2023, focusing on climate-related content. Since November 2020, Maaike has also operated as a freelance writer, editor, and journalist, contributing to various publications such as Het Financieele Dagblad (Futures), Trouw, and NRC. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Content and podcast maker at Audiohuis, as well as Editor In Chief and Editor at Sublime World, where Maaike managed a daily radio bulletin. Prior to these positions, Maaike worked as a Brand Manager and Brand Coordinator for Unilever and Samsung at 72andSunny. Maaike's background includes a Master's degree in Privaatrecht from the University of Groningen and completion of a podcast course.
