Jan E.e. Keunen

Jan E.E. Keunen has extensive experience in ophthalmology and medical education, currently serving as a non-executive board member at Vereniging Rembrandt and an initiator of the "Ogen Wijd Open" minor program at Radboudumc Health Academy. Keunen also held the position of interim ophthalmologist at Radboudumc from August 2023 to October 2024 and served as a VVD senator in the Dutch Senate from October 2020 to June 2023. Prior to these roles, Keunen was an emeritus professor of ophthalmology at Radboudumc from January 2005 to June 2023 and worked as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Chicago in the early 1990s. Jan E.E. Keunen obtained medical degrees from Radboud University between 1972 and 1979.
