Laurens Meerman

Laurens Meerman is an experienced art historian currently serving as a bestuurslid at Stichting 'De Gijselaar-Hintzenfonds' since April 2023 and as an online editor at Vereniging Rembrandt since March 2020. Since April 2016, Laurens has operated as an independent art historian. Previous roles include a junior editor at Kunstschrift from March 2018 to March 2021, and a bookseller at Boekhandel Den Boer from November 2012 to February 2020. Laurens has also gained curatorial experience through internships at the National Galleries of Scotland and Centraal Museum, and worked as a teaching assistant in Art History at Universiteit Utrecht. Laurens holds a Master of Arts in Research Master: Art History of the Low Countries in its European Context and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, both from Utrecht University.
