Pauline Burmann

Pauline Burmann is an esteemed professional in the field of arts and culture, serving as the Owner/Director Platform of African Arts and Theory since 1992, where responsibilities include facilitating national and international exhibitions and collaborating with various artists and institutions. As the Chair of the Thami Mnyele Foundation, Burmann has overseen the provision of artist-in-residence awards for nearly three decades, supporting artists from Africa and the diaspora. Additionally, Burmann is involved with various organizations including Vereniging Rembrandt as an advisory board member, DEVERON PROJECTS LTD. as a general board member, and the Scientific Committee Nation 25 in Italy, focusing on humanitarian issues related to migration. Burmann has also contributed to Foundation Upstream as a board member, concentrating on intercultural projects.
