Anja Carere-Sigl

Anja Carere-Sigl has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Anja is currently working as a Regulatory Affairs Scientist at VERFORA since February 2023. Prior to that, they dedicated their time to their family from September 2022 to February 2023. Anja also held the role of Leiterin QS/FvP at Voigt AG from August 2021 to September 2022. Anja has a strong background in medical and regulatory affairs, having worked at Biomed AG from March 2016 to July 2021. Anja'sroles at Biomed included being a Medical and Regulatory Affairs Manager, Stv FvP, as well as an FvP/QP - Medical & Regulatory Affairs Manager. Before their industry experience, Anja pursued a PhD at the University of Basel from August 2012 to November 2015, focusing on the development and evaluation of FimH antagonists for the treatment of urinary tract infection. Anja also gained valuable experience during their master's thesis internship at Statens Serum Institut from September 2011 to March 2012, and their internship at Roche Pharmaceuticals from May 2011 to July 2011. Anja's work experience demonstrates their expertise in regulatory affairs, quality control, and scientific research.

Anja Carere-Sigl completed their IELTS and English studies at Bond University in 2006. Anja then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Basel from 2010 to 2012.
