Sam Galindo serves as the Associate Director of Business Development at Verge Genomics, where responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and negotiating strategic collaborations and partnerships while leading the search for in-licensing opportunities. Previously, Sam held various roles at Columbia Technology Ventures, including Senior Manager and Business Development Manager, focusing on academic-industry collaborations and managing a diverse portfolio of life science alliances. Sam contributed to technology transfer operations as a Project Coordinator and co-managed the CTV Fellows program. Academic accomplishments include a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics & Development from Columbia University and postdoctoral research at Columbia's Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute, with a focus on neural circuits and somatosensation. Sam also has experience as a consultant for the Academic Venture Exchange and has conducted undergraduate research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
