Dany Robberecht has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Dany began their career as an Account Manager at Vandemoortele in 1995. Dany then moved to Verhaert New Products & Services, where they served as a Marketing Manager and later as the Coordinator for Masters In Innovation. In 2008, they joined IWT as a Platform Manager and worked there until 2013. During this time, they also served as a Lector for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Erasmus Hogeschool Brussel and as a Guest Lector for Innovation at Radboud University. In 2014, they became a Member of the innovation board at Novy, a position they held until 2016. In 2017, they joined Gemeente Utrecht as a Member of the innovation board until 2019. In the same year, they also started working at the European Commission, where they served as a Project Director for Cassini Hackathons & Mentoring and later as a Project Director for Copernicus Incubation. In 2020, they became a Member of the innovation board at Niko. Currently, they are the Business Unit Director for Strategic Innovation at Verhaert, where they have been working since 2023.
Dany Robberecht attended Antwerp Management School from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Design Management. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1995, they attended Hogeschool Antwerpen and studied Marketing. In 1990 to 1991, Dany Robberecht attended KA St Niklaas, though the field of study was not specified.
