Michael A. Toomey

Michael A. Toomey has a diverse work experience spanning from 1998 to present. Michael A. currently holds the position of Senior Director of Marketing at Vericel Corporation since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Hologic, Inc. from 2016 to 2021 as the Senior Director of Global Marketing, where they played a key role in new product innovation, talent acquisition, and achieving significant growth in the medical device portfolio. Before that, from 2011 to 2016, Michael worked at Terumo Medical Corporation as a Marketing Manager and later as a Senior Product Manager, where they successfully launched new products, managed market share, and implemented marketing strategies. Michael A. also gained experience at Covidien as a Product Manager and Associate Product Manager, and at WebMD as an International Sales & Marketing Manager and Senior Sales Representative.

Michael A. Toomey is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration at the University of Rhode Island - College of Business, which is expected to be completed by 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Michael A. also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Marketing from Florida State University.
