Paul Friedman

Paul Friedman has extensive experience in supply chain management, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Paul currently holds the position of Sr. Director Supply Chain at Vericel® Corporation, where they oversee all aspects of the supply chain in a small cell therapy company. This includes managing teams responsible for warehousing, distribution, cold chain controlled storage, logistics, purchasing, planning, and vendor management, while ensuring compliance with cGMP and DSCSA regulations. Prior to this, Paul served as the Supply Chain Director at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, where they led the supply chain for a cell therapy product. Paul has also held senior positions at Boston Heart Diagnostics and Boston Scientific, where they managed various aspects of the supply chain, including logistics, distribution, materials sourcing, planning, and contract manufacturing. Additionally, Paul has experience at Biogen Idec, Dell, and Millipore, where they contributed to supply chain operations and engineering.

Paul Friedman earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in 1995. Paul later pursued their MBA and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering specializing in Supply Chain and New Business Development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2001.
