Phillip Harnist

Project Superintendent at Vericon Construction Company

Phillip Harnist has extensive experience in the construction industry. Phillip began their career in 2001 as a Field Manager at Centex, where they managed on-site operations for new home construction and was responsible for material inventory management. From 2003 to 2006, they served as a Project Manager at Centex and led a team of Field Managers in the completion of 110 homes within six months. Phillip received recognition for customer satisfaction and the highest overall quality inspection score during this time. In 2006, Harnist took on the role of Construction Manager at Centex, supervising operations for six communities and overseeing the growth of project managers.

In 2010, Harnist worked as a Purchasing Analyst at PulteGroup before transitioning to the role of Field Manager in 2011. Phillip joined Golden Sands General Contractors, Inc. in 2012 as a Superintendent, where they bid, contracted, and supervised renovations for various projects. Phillip also received an award for their work on the renovation of an office space.

From 2013 to 2014, Harnist served as a Project Manager at Ashton Woods Homes, managing all on-site operations and ensuring defect-free, on-time delivery of new semi-custom homes. Phillip collaborated closely with sales and design teams to address customer concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

In 2015, Harnist worked as a Superintendent at Tommy Waters Custom Homes Inc. before joining Vericon Construction Company in 2016 as a Project Superintendent.

Overall, Harnist has demonstrated expertise in project management, construction supervision, customer satisfaction, and resource allocation throughout their career.

Phillip Harnist began their education in 1999, attending Santa Fe College from 1999 to 2001. During this time, they pursued a degree in Building Construction Technology and successfully completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree. Later on, from 2009 to 2011, Phillip attended Florida Southern College where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting.
