Digital IC Design Engineer at Veriest

Marija Trifunović has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of digital IC design and FPGA development. Their most recent position is as a Digital IC Design Engineer at Veriest since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer at Vtool - Smart Verification from August 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Vtool, Marija held the position of Senior Digital Designer/FPGA Designer at ELSYS Eastern Europe from July 2019 to July 2021. They also worked as a Senior FPGA Designer at RT-RK from February 2018 to July 2019 and as a Digital Design Engineer - Senior RTL Designer at Chipglobe GmbH from September 2017 to February 2018.

Marija's earlier experiences include R&D engineer roles at Vlatacom d.o.o. from February 2014 to August 2017, Embedded engineer - FPGA designer at ComTrade IT Solutions and Services d.o.o. from July 2011 to 2014, and R&D engineer at Lola institut d.o.o. from December 2009 to July 2011. They started their career as an Engineer at E-Smart Systems d.o.o. from April 2009 to December 2009.

Marija has gained expertise in various tasks and responsibilities throughout their career, including FPGA design, digital and physical IC design, RTL design, software development, and algorithm programming.

Marija Trifunović completed their education at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. Marija obtained a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering after five years of study, from 2002 to 2008. Marija then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the same institution from 2014 to 2024. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained several certifications, including the "Parallel Computing: 9th SimLab Course on Parallel Numerical Simulation" from the Technical University of Munich in cooperation with the University of Belgrade in October 2010. Marija also achieved the following Microsoft certifications: "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Designing, Assessing, and Optimizing Software Asset Management (SAM)" in June 2009, "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Volume Licensing Specialist, Large Organizations" in May 2009, and "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Volume Licensing Specialist, Small and Medium Organizations" in May 2009.
