Ken Umezaki has a long history of work experience in the finance industry. Ken began their career in 1986 as an Assistant Vice President at Kidder Peabody. In 1989, they moved to Lehman Brothers, where they held numerous positions, including Global Head of Fixed Income Business Strategy and Co-Head of Global High Grade Credit Trading. In 2007, Ken became Managing Director at Neuberger Investment Management, where they were responsible for Fixed Income Asset Management, the Quantitative Investment Group, all fixed income hedge funds, Structured Asset Management, and European Quantitative Asset Management. Ken was also a member of the firm's Executive Committee. In 2010, Ken founded Digital Daruma, a company that invests in start-up music companies and musicians globally. In 2011, they joined Section 101 as a Board Member and Advisor. Finally, in 2016, Ken became Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Chief Business Officer at Verifi Media.
