Shai Aharoni

Shai Aharoni is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in operations and financial management. Currently serving as EMEA Operations Finance Director and CFO at Verifone since November 2011, Shai heads the Finance department and is a member of the company's management team and Board of Directors for a subsidiary. Prior roles include Israel Finance Controller and Deputy Controller at Verifone, where Shai managed various financial operations, including revenue recognition and compliance with US GAAP. Prior to Verifone, Shai was the Israel Controller at VBIR Accounting Firm, providing financial control services to notable companies. Shai began a career in finance following service as a Lieutenant in the Israeli Intelligence Corps' Unit 8200. Shai holds a Master’s degree in legal studies from Bar-Ilan University, a CPA in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Netanya Academic College.
