Tom Kimbrell

Tom Kimbrell is a Principal Software Engineer at Verify since May 2023, following a diverse career in various engineering and product management roles. At Cruise from February 2020 to April 2023, Tom served as a Technical Product Manager and also held positions as Senior Software Engineer I and Software Engineer, contributing to the scaling of autonomous vehicle production. As Co-Founder and CTO of Sportme from November 2020 to March 2022, Tom aimed to facilitate funding for elite athletes through mentorship opportunities. Prior experience includes leadership positions at General Motors from August 2016 to February 2020, where Tom was involved in multiple roles in compute performance integration and system integration for autonomous systems. Tom's early career includes roles at Lockheed Martin and a summer research position at Stanford. Tom Kimbrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, earned in 2016, and graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School in 2012.
