Damir Ahmetovic

Damir Ahmetovic has a strong background in verification engineering. Damir started their career in 2014 at Infineon Technologies, where they worked as a Digital Functional Verification Engineer within the automotive microcontroller group. Their responsibilities included pre-silicon digital functional verification using testbenches based on Specman and eRM. In 2018, Damir joined ams OSRAM as a Staff Verification Engineer, where they worked until 2021. Currently, they are working at Verilab as a Verification Engineer Consultant, starting in 2022.

Damir Ahmetovic has a strong educational background in engineering. Damir began their studies in 2008 at Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2011. Following that, in 2011-2012, they pursued further studies at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they attended Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche again, this time obtaining a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Damir has also obtained various certifications. In 2016, they completed the Specman Advanced Verification training course at Cadence Design Systems. Then, in 2018, they obtained two more certifications from the same institution - Metric Driven Verification using Cadence vManager and System Verilog Accelerated Verification Using UVM.
