Jason Cancio

Jason Cancio is a seasoned hardware engineer specializing in integrated circuit (IC) layout design, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Jason works at Google as a Hardware Engineer focusing on IC Mixed-Signal Layout Design since 2019, while also holding a position at Verily Life Sciences in the same capacity since 2016. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Manager of IC Physical/Layout Design at Fairchild Semiconductor from 2006 to 2016, where Jason managed Mobile, Cloud, iFET, and MEMs ASIC layout teams. Jason also led physical design efforts at Big Bear Networks from 2000 to 2005 in optical networking, and worked at Texas Instruments Inc. and Lucent Technologies in various layout design roles from 1993 to 2000. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
