Oleksandr Gorkun

Oleksandr Gorkun is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing and improving software systems across various reputable companies. At Verily, Oleksandr focused on developing a distributed backup system and contributing to the migration to a new platform using technologies such as Kubernetes, Istio, and Terraform for Google Cloud. Previously, at Lyft, Oleksandr led projects to unify services, significantly improving deployment times and facilitating the onboarding of new mapping features. During tenure at Magento, Oleksandr enhanced security, developer experience, and maintainability in an open-source product. Additional roles included backend development and feature design at Synergetica, support and resiliency enhancements at TravelTipz.ru, and early career software development positions at Agere, Freelance, and JoinUp.
