Richard Brutti

Richard Brutti is an accomplished professional in the field of machine learning and natural language processing, currently serving as the Director of Research - Machine Learning at Verint since October 2024. Prior experience includes holding various leadership roles at Cogito Corp from February 2017 to October 2024, where responsibilities encompassed directing machine learning and annotation efforts. Richard also worked at Amazon from September 2014 to February 2017, managing Accuracy & Training programs for Alexa across multiple regions, as well as overseeing human-generated language data. Earlier career positions included program management and project management roles at Language Scientific, Pangeanic Language Technologies, and Language Connections, focusing on localization and machine translation projects. Richard is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science with a concentration in Computational Linguistics at Brandeis University, complementing a master's degree in the same field and a bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Boston College.
