Jonathan Swain

Jonathan Swain is a Data Scientist currently employed at Veriphi since August 2024, following a tenure as Senior Scientist (Data Science) at Vernalis from January 2023 to August 2024, where development of software for DNA-encoded library screen analysis and deep learning models for target binding prediction occurred. Previous experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Data Scientist focused on chemical property prediction models, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Auckland, involved in synthesizing antimicrobial peptides under Distinguished Professor Dame Margaret Brimble. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and an MSci in Natural Sciences from University College London, complemented by undergraduate exchanges in related fields at the University of Toronto.
