Yogesh Bundey

Yogesh Bundey is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at VeriSIM Life. Yogesh has a wide range of experience in data science, big data, and software development.

Bundey began their career as a Data Science Research Assistant at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. In this role, they improved disease associations through different features by 27% and drug discovery repositioning through graph cluster analysis on 5,211 diseases, 3,829 genes, 5,279 phenotypes and 6.4M connections. Yogesh also provided full access to data analysis by developing python wrapper and an open source end-to-end web application for rare disease network research.

In August 2017, Bundey joined VeriSIM Life as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for developing machine learning models to simulate biological systems. Yogesh has also worked on developing web applications and data visualization tools.

Yogesh Bundey has a master's degree in data science from the University of Cincinnati. Yogesh also has a B.Tech in computer science engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and a diploma in computer science engineering from Government Polytechnic College. In addition, they have a secondary education diploma from Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar High School –Board of Secondary Education. Yogesh also has certifications from LinkedIn in Apache Spark Essential Training and from Google in Google Analytics for Beginners.
