Kristian Halonen

Kristian Halonen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kristian began their career as a Mail Handler at Posti Group Oyj in 2006. Kristian then worked as a Warehouse worker at Ovako Group from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Janakkalan kunta where they worked as a Food Service Worker, School Assistant, Janitor, and provided IT support. In 2010, they returned to Ovako Group as a Warehouse worker for a brief period.

Kristian joined Verisure in 2011 and worked in various roles over the years. Kristian started as a Technical Support Specialist, providing technical support for installers and customers. Kristian later took on the role of Technical Coach, guiding and mentoring others in technical roles. Kristian then worked as an Application Specialist, responsible for specific applications. In 2016, they returned to the role of Technical Coach and held it until 2018. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Technical Support Team Leader, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Operations Support Team Leader.

In 2022, they took on the additional responsibility of Interim Data Protection Officer before being appointed as the Operational Excellence Lead and Data Protection Officer in 2023 at Verisure. Kristian'swork experience demonstrates their expertise in technical support, coaching, leadership, and operational excellence.

Kristian Halonen earned a Basic degree in Electrician from Länsi-Lapin ammatti-instituutti from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2009 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Hämeen ammattikorkeakoulu. In addition to their formal education, Kristian also obtained a certification in Agile Project Management and Agile Delivery from Udemy in 2022.
