John P. Benson

John P. Benson is the co-founder and chairman of Verisys Corporation, a company that provides information to help its clients assure regulatory compliance, manage legal and financial risk and protect their reputation. Benson has over 25 years of experience in the health care sector, including stints as the chief operating officer and co-founder of Verisys Corporation and as a specialist in health care regulatory compliance, risk management, data acquisition and management, and data quality assurance. Benson is a fully accredited credentials verification organization (CVO) by URAC and has helped Verisys Corporation become NCQA certified for professional licensure, DEA registrant, medical board sanctions, Medicare/Medicaid sanctions, and ongoing monitoring of sanctions.

John P. Benson received their Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and their BA in Journalism from California State University, Northridge. John is also certified by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and by the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association as an Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator (AFHI). Additionally, they have certification from IASIU as a Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator.
