Scott Zivin

Scott Zivin has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Scott started their career as a Consultant at Modern Business Technologies in 1997 and later moved on to work as a Consultant at USWeb/CKS for WMS Gaming. In these roles, they coded frontend and backend components using ASP, VB6, and SQL, and also played a key role in deploying sales/revenue tracking systems and designing handheld scanner applications.

From 1999 to 2000, Scott worked as an Application Developer at Lifeserv, where they coded and tested distributed event planning software and integrated an internet chat client into the software packages. Scott also had direct customer interaction to troubleshoot issues and collaborated with product specialists for event-related marketing materials.

In 2000, Scott joined divine interVentures - Xqsite as a Senior Microsoft Web Developer, where they provided application and software design and development for both customer projects and internal needs. Scott built a B2B interface for FreightQuote.com during this time.

From 2001 to 2014, Scott worked at DWS Investments as an Assistant Vice President. Here, they led an architecture redesign for 10 Asset Management websites and achieved a 60% cost reduction through virtualization and migration of existing applications from physical hardware.

Since 2014, Scott has been with Veritas Document Solutions - An RRD Company. Scott started as an IT Project Manager, involved in managing high-profile clients' custom e-commerce solutions, designing systems, and providing support for production issues. Scott then served as an IT Solutions Manager before taking up their current role as Director of Information Technology in August 2019.
