James D. Recer

Mr. Recer brings over 30 years of banking experience to Veritex Bank’s senior executive management team. His role at Veritex will be to lead the company’s efforts in all revenue initiatives and to develop scalable strategies designed to support the Bank's organic growth. Mr. Recer has served in executive level positions at some of Texas’ largest banks, including Executive Vice President at Bank of America, Senior Managing Director and Senior Executive Vice President at BBVA/Compass where he implemented numerous commercial lending disciplines, and was Executive Managing Director for Specialty Banking at Texas Capital Bank.
