Melanie Goodman has over 30 years of experience in finance and compliance. Melanie served as Vice President and Community Reinvestment Act Compliance Officer at First United Bank from 1996 to 2017, where they developed and administered compliance programs for numerous branches. Melanie then moved to Veritex Community Bank in 2017 and took on the role of SVP and Community Reinvestment Act Compliance Officer, overseeing programs across DFW and Houston. Prior to their work in banking, Melanie gained experience in accounting and finance during their time in the United States Air Force.
Melanie Goodman completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Finance and Financial Management Services at the Community College of the Air Force from 1990 to 1992. Melanie then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics (Cum Laude) from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2006 to 2010. Melanie also obtained a certification as a Collin County Master Gardener from CCMGATX in 2013. Melanie attended Forest Park High School from 1977 to 1981.
