Head Of Data Technology at Verition Fund Management

Vishnu Mavuram has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Vishnu is currently the Head of Data Technology at Verition Fund Management LLC, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ethyca as the Director of Engineering from February 2020 to February 2022.

From 2015 to 2019, Vishnu held the role of Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Before that, they worked at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President from December 2010 to March 2015. At Goldman Sachs, they were involved in building a high-volume streaming data platform and developing scalable numeric key services.

Earlier in their career, Vishnu worked at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President from September 2004 to November 2010. During this time, they were responsible for building a securitized products pricing/analytics platform. Vishnu also worked at JP Morgan as a System Analyst and Architect, focusing on the development of the MorganRisk VAR calculation system, from 2002 to 2004.

Vishnu's career began at RandomWalk, where they worked as a Senior Consultant from August 1997 to October 2004. Vishnu also gained experience at Commerz Bank, where they were a System Analyst and Architect from 2000 to 2002, and at Corel Corporation as a Software Engineer from May 1994 to August 1997. Vishnu started their career as a Software Engineer at Sriven Computer Solutions from 1992 to 1994.

Throughout their career, Vishnu has demonstrated a strong ability to build and develop various technology platforms and systems, including those related to data management, key generation, product modeling, and risk calculation.

Vishnu Mavuram has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Technology from Nagpur University. Vishnu also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Vishnu has obtained various certifications. In April 2019, they completed the following courses through Coursera: "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Intro to TensorFlow," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Deep Learning Specialization," and "Machine Learning."
