Zoltan Leskowsky

Zoltan Leskowsky has a wealth of experience in software engineering and applications development. Zoltan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Verition Fund Management LLC, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at TD as a Senior IT Developer from 2018 to 2022, where they supported Treasury and Balance Sheet Management in measuring and managing market risk.

Before joining TD, Zoltan held various roles at Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, Citi, CPP Investment Board, Lehman Brothers, Countrywide Securities Corporation, LexiQuest, and Credit Lyonnais.

At Morgan Stanley, they served as a VP of Applications Development from 2014 to 2018, where they worked with a cross-region server development team responsible for a real-time risk and profit-and-loss system.

At J.P. Morgan from 2013 to 2014, Zoltan worked as a VP of Applications Developer Lead, focusing on software development using Python and automation of weekly Sensitivities tweaks.

During their time at Citi from 2011 to 2013, Zoltan held the position of VP of Applications Development Technical Specialist, Risk Analytics. Zoltan worked on C++ development on Linux/UNIX, implementing a proof-of-concept Trade-Level Exposure service using Actor framework, TIBCO EMS for client-service communication, and Google Protobuf for message payloads.

Prior to Citi, Zoltan was a Senior Developer at CPP Investment Board from 2008 to 2011, where they developed portfolio rebalancer services and refactored the trade selection system using various programming languages and tools.

From 2006 to 2008, Zoltan worked at Lehman Brothers as an AVP of Market Risk, focusing on the development of the LehmanRisk Risk-Based Margining system.

Zoltan also gained experience at Countrywide Securities Corporation, LexiQuest, and Credit Lyonnais in various software and financial roles. Zoltan has worked with a range of programming languages, including C++, Java, Python, Scala, and scripting languages.

Zoltan Leskowsky has a strong educational background in various fields. Zoltan obtained a B.Sc. degree from the University of Toronto, where they pursued studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Psychology. Following this, Zoltan furthered their education at the same institution and obtained an M.A.Sc. (all but thesis) degree in Human Factors and Operations Research.
